Welcome Dr. Larsen!

We are excited to welcome Dr. Larsen to the Golf Glen Team!

Dr. Leah Larsen’s connection to animals began at a young age.  She spent summers on the family farm and working at a veterinary clinic in the town of Orangeville where she grew up.  Dr. Larsen began her path to becoming a veterinarian in 2000 by entering the animal science program at the University of Guelph.  While at the University of Guelph she discovered she also had a passion for clinical research and before entering the Ontario Veterinary College she spent a year working for the University as a research technician.

Following her graduation in 2009, she relocated to Aurora with her husband Kent and fur babies:  Ellie, a German Shorthair Pointer, Uggs, a Himalayan, and The Racoon, a Ragdoll.  When not enjoying her time interacting with clients and patients, Dr. Larsen enjoys hiking, reading, going to the gym, and horseback riding.  She has been riding since a young age and enjoys bringing along young horses so they can reach their full potential.

Dr. Larsen is excited to meet all the great clients and patients of Golf Glen Veterinary Clinic!
